Kemi Badenoch MP visited Little Canfield’s Men’s Shed recently to hear more from volunteers Matt Creed and Geoff Winckles about the work in the community to help tackle loneliness and isolation.
The shed is part of the wider Essex Shed Network, who provide support and expertise to communities hoping to establish one.
Whilst the men’s shed is similar to a traditional shed in its nature, its purpose is to offer a space where local men can meet one another to pick up news skills, or simply have a cup of tea with company.
The Little Canfield Shed is open to all men aged 18+. To find out more about sessions, please contact [email protected]
