Saffron Walden MP Kemi Badenoch welcomed the additional Government funding of £5,783,212 to Essex County Council to enable the council to develop and implement its outbreak control plan and work closely with our local NHS to tackle the virus.
1,146 small businesses in Uttlesford and 1,880 in Chelmsford have received grants as part of the Government’s Small Business Grants Scheme. In total, more than £13.8 million has made its way to small businesses in Uttlesford and over £25 million in Chelmsford.
Local MP Kemi Badenoch has helped secure £14billion of extra school funding, meaning every school across Chelmsford and Uttlesford in places Broomfield, Writtle, Saffron Walden, Takeley and Dunmow will see increased investment.
Kemi Badenoch, the Member of Parliament for Saffron Walden, was given a tour of Carver Barracks last week by the Commanding Officer, the Regimental Sergeant Major and one of the Captains, as well as other officers.
