  • Progress the plans for a new health campus in Harlow
  • Supported Government's 'Dental Recovery Plan' which will deliver additional dental appointments and training places
  • Progress plans for two new hospitals in Cambridge 
  • Worked with the Mid and South Essex NHS Trust (which includes Broomfield hospital) to secure over £40 million to improve facilities
  • Supported Government's 'Primary Care Recovery Plan' - 32% increase in general practice doctors, nurses and care staff across constituency, local GP telephone systems upgrades and local pharmacies now treating people for common conditions via Pharmacy First scheme

Pharmacy First services launch across Chelmsford villages and Uttlesford

Kemi opens new Peacock Pharmacy in Stansted

Government approves millions in funding to improve patient care locally

Hospitals across mid and south Essex are receiving a welcome £40 million boost to help improve their facilities. The funding from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has now been confirmed and will support Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, and its hospitals in Southend, Basildon
