Last weekend, local MP Kemi Badenoch and Leader of the Conservative Party was out speaking to residents in Dunmow.
Ahead of elections for Essex County Council on the 7th of May, Kemi was out in force with over sixty Conservative Party activists speaking to voters on the doorstep.
Under the Conservative administration, Essex County Council has put record investment into highways, with an extra £6million for weather-related repairs in addition to the £139million already being invested.
Conservative-run Essex County Council has one of the lowest council tax rates in the country and kept an increase to council tax well below the legal level. Ensuring hard-working families aren’t hit with higher bills for vanity projects but instead see investment in better roads, support for schools, protection for social care, and the funding that Essex needs and deserves to boost the local economy and create jobs.
Commenting, Rt Hon Kemi Badenoch MP said:
“An incredible team of activists joined me in Dunmow over the weekend, getting stuck in and speaking to voters on the doorstep.
"The Conservatives have a strong record of effectively running Essex County Council and have delivered time and time again for resident’s across North West Essex.”
