Local MP and Leader of the Conservative Party Kemi Badenoch has pledged that the next Conservative Government will back motorists with their Plan for Drivers.
Labour has declared war on motorists, yet families and businesses across Chelmsford and Uttlesford especially in rural villages rely on their cars.
The Conservatives’ Plan for Drivers will; axe Labour’s fuel duty rise, end blanket 20mph schemes, fix our roads through a National Pothole Patrol, deliver an additional 200,000 additional driving tests to clear the backlog, free up underused road space in bus lanes and scrap the ban on petrol and diesel cars.
Commenting, Rt Hon Kemi Badenoch MP for North West Essex said:
“The Conservatives are on the side of drivers, Labour are not. They are making drivers’ lives as difficult as possible.
“Across North West Essex, cars and vans are a lifeline for local families and businesses and our Plan for Drivers will ensure a future Conservative Government backs them.”
