Right now, Labour are planning to introduce an early release scheme from our prison system.
This will mean that rapists, paedophiles and other serious offenders could be released early.
The Conservatives have fought this dangerous scheme from day one.
Burnham now needs to show us he’s ready to take the tough decisions to ensure that violent offenders can never be released early.
He has until the 2nd of September to make the change needed to stop this, and we will fight hard to make sure this scheme is stopped.
