Fix and Reopen Belfry Crescent Playground

A number of local residents have contacted me about the continued closure of the children’s playground at Belfry Crescent in the Channels development.

I have been working closely with Conservative Councillor for Broomfield and The Walthams, Seena Shah, to raise residents’ concerns with Home Group and Chelmsford City Council.

Inspections have now taken place, the problems have been identified and a plan has been developed to put the playground right. While this progress is welcome, local families have already waited too long.

We now want to see a clear timetable for the necessary work to be completed and the playground reopened for local children.

Seena and I have launched this petition to demonstrate the strength of local support for getting Belfry Crescent playground fixed and reopened.
